Senior Sales Representative – Southern Ontario (Waste & Organics)

Location: Southern Ontario (Hybrid / Field-Based)

Position Overview

As a Senior Sales Representative, you will represent Minus Waste Solutions and its liquid organics division, Perth Environmental Inc., meeting with operations and facility teams at food processors, retailers, and distribution centres to understand how their waste is currently handled and identify where service structure, diversion, and logistics can be improved. From there, you will build a clear service plan and pricing structure and carry it through to implementation.

This role will involve regular site visits, walkthroughs, and conversations with people running real operations — plant managers, sanitation teams, maintenance supervisors, and corporate sustainability or procurement teams. The sale will be built on understanding how the facility works and proposing a program that makes operational and financial sense.

We are looking for a customer-focused professional with waste or organics experience who will develop long-term accounts across both organizations.

We pick up food waste product, collect it and process it, and all wastewater collected from interceptors and grease traps goes to our plant or an anaerobic digester to help make methane gas for generating electricity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new commercial accounts across Southern Ontario
  • Manage full sales cycle: lead generation → audit → proposal → close → onboarding
  • Conduct site walkthroughs and waste assessments
  • Build business cases showing cost savings and diversion improvements
  • Work with operations team to design service programs
  • Maintain and grow existing key accounts
  • Track pipeline activity and forecasting in CRM
  • Represent Minus Waste Solutions and Perth Environmental Inc. at industry events and client meetings

Qualifications

  • 5+ years B2B sales experience (waste, recycling, logistics, environmental services, or facilities services strongly preferred)
  • Experience selling multi-location or enterprise accounts
  • Proven ability to close long sales cycles and high-value contracts
  • Strong consultative and relationship-driven selling skills
  • Ability to build ROI-based proposals
  • Confident presenting to operations and executive stakeholders
  • Self-directed and organized
  • Comfortable working in the field (50–70% travel within Southern Ontario)
  • Valid driver’s license
